Shipping and Delivery Policy

Last updated 1/1/2026

We are committed to delivering your order safely, accurately, and transparently. Please review the information below to understand how shipping is handled.

Processing Time

  • Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days after payment is received.
  • Orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed on the next business day.
  • Processing time is separate from carrier transit time.

Shipping Methods

We primarily ship orders within the United States using USPS. Available shipping options and pricing are shown at checkout based on the items in your order.

Common shipping methods include:

  • Media Mail–Eligible Shipping (books only)
  • USPS Ground Advantage (2–5 business days)
  • USPS Priority Mail (1–3 business days)
  • USPS Priority Mail Express (1–2 business days)

Not all shipping methods are available for all orders. Eligibility depends on item type, order contents, and order value.

Media Mail Eligibility

Media Mail is available only for qualifying book-only orders.

Media Mail is not available for:

  • Orders containing bookmarks, accessories, or non-media items
  • Certain oversized or special items
  • Orders that exceed internal eligibility thresholds

If Media Mail is not available for your order, alternative USPS shipping options will be presented at checkout.Packaging & Item Protection

We take care to package orders in a manner appropriate to their value and condition.

  • Each book is packaged in a protective glassine sleeve or poly bag to help guard against moisture, dust, and surface wear during transit.
  • Individual products priced above $50 are individually shrink wrapped as an added protective measure to help preserve condition and protect your investment.
  • Higher-value or delicate items may receive additional internal cushioning and reinforced packaging as needed.

Packaging methods are selected to reduce movement, prevent abrasion, and ensure items arrive in the condition described.

Insurance & High-Value Orders

  • Most USPS shipping services include tracking and limited carrier insurance.
  • For higher-value orders, additional insurance may be applied automatically during fulfillment.
  • Orders of significant value may ship via Priority Mail for added security.
  • Signature confirmation may be required for high-value shipments.

These measures are applied to protect both the customer and the shipment and may not be visible during checkout.

Shipping Costs

  • Shipping costs are calculated based on the items in your cart and the selected shipping method.
  • We use flat-rate and table-based pricing to provide predictable shipping costs.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable once an order has shipped, except where required by law.

Address Accuracy

Please ensure that your shipping address is complete and accurate at checkout.

We are not responsible for:

  • Delays or losses caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses
  • Packages marked as delivered by the carrier but sent to the address provided by the customer

If a package is returned due to an address issue, additional shipping charges may apply.

Delivery Issues & Claims

If your order arrives damaged or appears lost in transit:

  • Contact us promptly so we can assist
  • Claims are handled in accordance with carrier policies
  • Supporting documentation (photos, packaging) may be required

We will work with you in good faith to resolve shipping-related issues when possible.

Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Shipping & Delivery Policy at any time to reflect operational, carrier, or regulatory changes. Updates apply to orders placed after the effective date.

Image conceptualizes Charles Randolph's poem The Great American Trauma Olympics. A golden egg, cracked open and glowing from within, rests in a luminous gold environment beside the words “The Broken Egg Awards.” The imagery evokes fragility, performance, and spectacle—symbolizing the cultural elevation of trauma as competitive currency and the poem’s critique of performative suffering in modern discourse. An excellent example of Charles Randolph's poetry that critiques modern culture.
